Why should smallholder farmers care about climate-smart agriculture?
Agriculture is a significant driver of climate change, but it is also especially vulnerable to the impacts of climate change. Ahmad Slaibi, IFC’s Senior Operations Officer for Clean Energy and Resource Efficiency, discusses IFC’s objectives for climate-smart agriculture, as well as IFC’s work to help smallholder farmers—the ones who are most vulnerable to climate change—implement climate-smart solutions.
